But what does ‘beauty lies in the eyes of beholder’ means? Have you ever been in a situation where you rate a man or woman 10 out of 10 but your friends would just give 5 out of 10? Well, that’s a best example of it. What has been perceived beautiful by someone need not to be perceived as such from another person perspective. Unfortunately, majority don’t think that way. When they find someone beautiful or charming, they often expect the entire world to look with the same eyes.
What will happen if everyone start to look with the same eyes? There will be twenty or more men go after a woman and vice-versa. To the worst, the rate of guys fight with each other to attract the opposite species will definitely rise. That’s why we have been created this way, where I find him/her charming/beautiful, but you don’t.
Some people may love the hair, some may appreciate the eyes and some even idolize the style. Some would love to have a beauty with brain while some would just satisfied with beauty alone. Well, it’s just simply the way how you look at them, reflecting what features or characteristics you value the most. So, it is always better not to condemn others’ tastes. You might find it hard sometimes because you totally can’t accept it. I feel you. Even I was into that sometimes and probably trying to fix myself. But, we have to respect others’ choice too. After all, beauty lies on the eyes of beholder.
