Dawn Of The Planet Of The Apes Movie Review

Dawn of the Planet of the Apes - I want to mention on the CGI and visual effects which was an astonishing achievement as it was spectacular and freaking realistic. The craftsmanship in this film definitely needs to be admired. I felt watching real apes which brought to life through the outstanding motion-capture performances by Andy Serkis, Toby Kebbell and the rest of the cast. Their acting and body language was awesomely performed as it gives more gravity and grittiness to the performance than before.

Next, the relationship shown between apes and humans was really great. The amount of affection shown in the scenes was kinda emotional and touching. As for the screenplay, it was absolutely brilliant and gripping. The way the story have been carved how it connects the problem between humans and apes which caused the war was simply amazing. The story and action scenes will definitely make the audience to be glued to the edge of their seats.

Another highlight of this film is the massive and the spellbinding background score by Michael Giacchino which gives a perfect sync to each and every scene. Director Matt Reeves, hats off to you man. He was just rocking throughout the movie with his direction skills and not only bringing the atmosphere but there are also some nicely shot action scenes which deliberately display the horror and violence of the battles.

On the whole, this film is more than a stunningly made film. The real depth within its storyline which results give you an overwhelming experience even without an excess of action. One of the finest films ever made in Hollywood. Probably, one of the best films this year.
