The casting was tremendous including the supporting cast. The chemistry between Arjun Kapoor and Alia Bhatt was terrific with their effortless splendid performance. Alia Bhatt is improving her acting skills from day by day which makes her one of the versatile heroines in Bollywood. The college life romance is wonderfully shot with magnificent cinematography throughout the movie but I feel some intimate scenes could have been avoided though. Another major highlight of this movie is the songs and BGMs by Shankar Ehsaan Loy which was rocking.
I'm in love with the movie background score and the Tamil bit songs which was used in the background. The bit songs were really mesmerizing and catchy indeed. One of the finest work from this trio SEL. Huge applause to the director Abishek Varman for bringing this story to life. His attempt at being a director for the first time has paid his hard work. Kudos to the whole team.
On the whole, 2 States is one of the most rare Hindi movie in Bollywood industry to be watched.
