The heart rate monitor only functions when the user touches the sensor with her or his fingertips. The sensor will track the pulse of users and send the data to S Health 3.0, the company's fitness monitoring app, which already track the pace taken and the calories burned.
"With the Galaxy S5, Samsung is going back to basics to focus on delivering the capabilities that matter most to our consumers," said Samsung mobile division chief J.K. Shin, who launched the smartphone in an event that featured a musical prelude by a live orchestra.
This might be a master plan of Samsung to frame in more applications and potentials into its products as the enormous technology electronics always belief in providing imperishable performance and design than complex technology to their customers.
