This might be a heart-break to the maxis patrons who have subscribed to illimitable packages rendered by maxis such as Biz Maxis 68 and Biz Maxis 99.
Maxis has made a clarification that they had made some changes in their legacy unlimited data plan which was introduced in 2007 as a part of fair usage policy. Maxis would no longer be providing boundless data of inflated speed as before.
Maxis officials declared that their data rate would be capped to 10GB for Biz 99 package whereas 4GB for Biz 68 package. As usual, the succeeding data will be free but the speed of application might differ as they will be controlled. The subscribers might find the application to be more sluggish than usual.
Maxis users who have subscribed to the unlimited data packages for mobile internet, needed to purchase auxiliary quota with an additional price. This is to use the internet with high speed as usual and to avoid hindrance and inconvenience. Additional charges would not be charged for extra usage of speed for the data plan on the users, yet only the download would be throttled due to its much sedated speed.
