The heat is back! Asia’s premier cycling event, Le Tour de Langkawi 2014 is just around the corner. With a total distance of 1,506.5km over 10 stages, the UCI 2.HC (hors category) race featuring again as one of the biggest events on the UCI Asia Tour calendar, will also bring viewers through countless of breathtaking sceneries on offer in Peninsula Malaysia. This 10 days race will go through eight states and a federal territory. The race starts in its spiritual home in Langkawi with a tricky 101.1km route dotted throughout the stage.
Organized by the Ministry of Youth & Sport together with National Sport Council and Malaysian National Cycling Federation, the race is expected to be more nail biting compared to previous years. Currently, this giant event is sponsored mainly by Kerajaan Negeri Terengganu, Resorts World Genting and Malaysian Airlines.
Le Tour de Langkawi 2014 carries the tagline "The Heat is Back" which is the sequel to last year’s ‘The Heat is on.” So what are you guys waiting for? Come and feel the heat!
