Captain Phillips - Based on true events, director Paul Greengrass' Captain Phillips is the rarest of an adventure biography drama thriller ever made. Its not easy to direct such films but the director have done a splendid job. As for the screenplay Billy Ray really did the homework and the output been amazing.
The actors in the supporting role especially the Somali pirates have been just awesome. Driven by a powerful, soul-baring, stupendous performance by the inimitable Tom Hanks, the movie never lags, never oversells the plight of its characters. Kudos to the the whole team. This movie deserves awards.
Overall, a fascinating & amazing film to be watched.
